The British boxer is set to fight the American YouTuber in an eight-round contest which will be broadcast live on the streaming platform.
British boxer Joshua said he will "overwhelm entirely" the American and "break" the American as the pair came face-to-face to build hype for the upcoming heavyweight fight.
Former two time world title holder Joshua meets YouTuber-turned-boxer Paul - in what is, by the numbers, a mammoth uneven pairing - at Miami arena on December 19th.
Fighter's Mentality
"I plan to damage his features and break his body up. My goal is to show my superiority," the British boxer, 35, said.
"I will dominate him completely. That's the boxer's mindset.
"I'm going to really want to injure him. That's my goal."
Civil Interaction
Despite those words, a relaxed Anthony Joshua and social media star Paul - typically recognized for his showmanship - shared friendly words and kept it respectful with each other.
Jake Paul instead targeted ex Joshua's rival Francis Ngannou and called him "not serious" after Ngannou turned down a fight offer.
Targeting Tyson Fury
Anthony Joshua, meanwhile, took aim at British opponent Fury - and declined a £1m bet 'The Gypsy King' states he will put on a Paul win.
"Jake Paul is superior to Tyson Fury - he showed up," Joshua stated.
"I respect him for that."
Legitimate Fighter
Despite declaring he will damage his opponent, Joshua declined to comment unfavorably about his rival's fighting skills.
"Jake Paul is a legitimate boxer," he stated.
Paul's History
Paul - who originally gained popularity on the Disney Channel - has mostly fought mixed martial artists or past-their-prime fighters since becoming pro.
He lost to British fighter Fury in last year.
Financial Success
Nevertheless, the relative newcomer is still one of boxing's largest commercial attractions, consistently making substantial earnings.
Prediction and Belief
The 28 year old predicted a knockout win in round four or five and stated he would stop the long-awaited match between Joshua and Fury, which is allegedly under discussion for 2026.
"It's going to be myself against Tyson Fury next year," Paul said.
Physical Difference
As the two fighters engaged in the traditional stare-down, with their height and weight contrast on show, it drove home just how surprising this complete situation is - and how remarkable it is that the bout is actually happening.
